Disgusted that Austin went!!! He shouldn\’t have even been in the bottom two. Louis should have voted for two each so it would have gone to the public vote. Daniel should have gone, as can\’t sing as well as others and the sympathy card is playing too thin!!
Firstly, how long can Daniel ride the sympathy train ? It seems its no longer about talent, as long as you have had a hard time you\’re in. Secondly, how can the judges be so childish as to let personal feelings sway the decisions they make ?. Any one can see that Louis and Simon are using very talented young people as pawns in there constant \’one-up-manship\’. We have now stopped watching as its a total joke.
It\’s such a shme that Laura went out last night, she really didn\’t deserve it. Ruth didn\’t either though. As Simon said, they weren\’t the worst performing that night.
I am appalled at the X Factor this season I dont know what is going on. It seems its a key factor this year to have a heart felt sob story and you will get to stay in the competition when the real talent is being voted off. I am a huge x factor fan but have found myself not watching anymore its not fair on the public voting if the real talent is going to go home. Austin and Laura definatley did not deserve to be voted off they were very strong contendars and i understand people have hard times in their lives but i think it is totally unfair that they use this to get by. Its becoming very tiring listening to it week in week out and its wearing a little thin lets hope next week the real talent stays in.
I did not agree with the x factor judges last night. Laura has real talent and should not have been voted of. Its the same with Austin, he had talent and rachel should have gone.

What is happening on the X Factor. The "sob" stories certainly seem to be keeping the less talented contestants in. I was devastated when Austin was voted off, as were several people I have spoken to, Rachel should have gone. Are the other judges voting FOR the contestants or AGAINST Simons lads. As nice a guy as Daniel seems to be, he really isn\’t as talented as the other contestants, and it was unfair that Scott should have gone instead of him.

I was absolutly devastated at last nights results! Laura should have remained in the competition, she has a sensational voice, Im gutted. The worst two in my opinion were Rachael and Ruth…they should have gone long ago!!…My favourites are Diana and Laura to win. I do hope Diana makes a come back soon after her illness.xxx

cannot, will not believe that Laura was voted off the X Factor!! its all becoming very silly now and the competition between the judges is becoming rather tiresome but i do hope that both Laura and Austin are signed to Gary Barlows new record label. he will write great songs for them and they can put two fingers up to the judges!! I think the only genuine one is Cheryl who so far has done a great job with her honesty and enthusiasm for those under her caring wing as she has experienced it all herself whereas Danni lived off the fame of her sister (well tried) and as for Louise Walsh i cant even begin to repeat my thoughts on that old, out of touch, has been!! More young judges in next year he HAS TO GO!!! and i wouldnt shed a tear to see Danni go either……..oh feel so much better now for getting that off my chest :o)

I think Cheryl was to blame for Laura going out on Saturday due to her "protecting" Diana the way she has. I think Louie voted Laura off because he knew by keeping her in not only was she one of the favourites, but also that Cheryl would still have three acts remaining, although only two performed, and Cheryl\’s precious Diana was already SAFE!!
Diana attended the Bonfire Party and seemed to be having a great time laughing and joking. If Cheryl had keeped her wrapped up in cotton wool and not allowed her out to catch a cold then maybe Laura would still be in the competition!
I have known on every series of X Factor for one of the contestants to fall prey to throat problems, Leona Lewis, being one of them, but she still got up and sang her heart out live on the show that week.

This years show is a joke, they\’ve had some of the best talent that they\’ve ever had and nearly all of it has gone and its all down to the judges, particularly louis walsh! he only voted scott and austin out to piss simon off, and he only voted laura off because hes trying to make sure his precious JLS win. Its just become all about the judges and its not right.I thought the competition to win would be maddd this year, diana laura austin eoghan jls and alexandra were all competitors to win in my eyes and they are all going because the over 25\’s and using there sob stories to stay in "my wife died" "i want this for my 3948723498 kids" "in spanish…" anyway, its not fair on the other contestants who are amazingly talented and could actually have a career in singing, when its quite blatent rachel daniel or ruth would never sell albums.As for rachels song this saturday, it was TRAGIC! i dont think she hit one note right.Im not even shocked laura went because i knew the judges would make a stupid decision yet again, and they will do it again next week.As for diana, stop having a go at her! she had laryngitis (AN INFECTION OF THE VOCAL CHORDS) for gods sake, she could barely talk how do you expect her to sing? i just hope its not chronic and that shes better for next saturdays show. It was a travesty of justice that Laura went, she was the main contender to win alongside Austin. Her version of \’Somewhere over the Rainbow\’ was so beautiful, I agree that Ruth\’s chosen song was outstanding and sang with passion but Laura is a quiet, gentle person and her passion comes from within. I think perhaps the piano wasn\’t a good idea as it detracted from her singing, it was a brave effort and showed her versatility but the second half of her chosen song was fantastic. Louis is voting off the competition that is so obvious and Simon for once is voting with his heart not his head, shame on you Simon I expected more from you. Its obvious the underdog i.e. Rachel is getting the sympathy vote, she was terrible, what on earth happened there, on the strength of that song she should have gone, she blew it, she has a fantastic voice but she has an attitude and frankly, it is really getting on my nerves. Daniel has a good voice but excuse me, should he be there instead of Laura, I don\’t think so, he is definitely getting the sympathy vote despite Danni\’s protests and by the way, what does she know, she can\’t sing either. I would like to see Sharon back in the frame frankly, she was a bit stroppy at times but when it came to it, she always spoke the truth and voted accordingly. The X factor for me personally has lost its sparkle.

I thought Austin and Laura would be in the final 3. As a comment says below, i think that Louis was sending home the strongest contestants so that his act (JLS) would out do the rest.

Daniel and Owen (not the way he spells it I know, before anyone comments) are still in there when Austin and Laura are out! What a travesty for what is meant to be a talent show. Louis has always voted tactically and this year is no different, he is such a scheming brat, he indeed does vote off the competition in the hopes of his own act winning regardless of any singing/performing talent they may have.

the decision should be made on there consistency and performances throughout the competition,
how on earth can they sing at there best when they\’ve just been told it may be their last chance to perform,
emotions and neves will be all over the place! And this is what the judges have to vote upon!
the people who it means more to will be more nervous therefore not perform there best and then end up out!
Unfortunately X-Factor has dissappointed, 2 amazing talents have been let go,

Well, wot can u say? Laura was my favorite to win x-factor, its a shame yes but i am sure we have not heard the last of laura. Hopefully its the last we will see of austin, after all he was and is such a cry baby, vain and i did not particularly like him. Rachel has a good voice but her attitude and aggression will let her down and that would be a shame. Daniel sang well on saturday but rachel and daniel should have in the bottom two, not laura and ruth.
Ince again this week the 2 acts in the bottom 2 should not have been there. I agree with all the comments about the emphasis of the show is now on the judges acts which is sad. Austin and Laura were personally in my top 3 and obviously a lot of people agree with me.

I totally agree about Rachel- she sings completely out of tune EVERY week. I\’ll admit I felt sorry for her on Saturday because she looked broken down by everything but I wouldn\’t vote for her…obviously others did. But we must be hearing something different through the TV because I don\’t know why she has been saved and why she gets compliments from the judges- I can\’t believe I\’m saying this but I\’d rather have Daniel than Rachel! At least he puts some emotion into it….she\’s just harsh and flat!
I honestly can\’t believe how vindictive and selfish louis is. Just because two of his acts went out right from the start, he has made this some sort of personal vendetta, instead of a talent show, which it infact is! Sometimes I really wonder why these competitions are run and i wonder if I\’m watching the same show as the voting public. I just can\’t get my head around what\’s happened! This show has turned into a joke. It\’s all about tactics and no longer about talent. Louis (tiny man) Walsh!!! To see Austin and then Laura voted off in consecutive weeks, proves it. I could only see 3 possible winners and now only Alexandra is left. I think she will walk it now. Good luck to her, but we have all been cheated out of a strong and nail biting competition. The judges votes should be done away with. This is peoples lives and dreams they are playing with. They should just give their opinions and let the bottom 2 sing off and the 1 with the least votes to go. I have played in bands and I have played in places like China and India, I have never had a recording contract and never will, but I would rather have done the things I have done than do a show like x factor, none of the judges have any talant, i would be very surprised if any of them can read music. Guys, don\’t worry too much about Laura, Austin and any real talent that gets voted off. They\’ve had the exposure they need; and already have contracts arranged. The "pity vote" being given to some acts is a result of the bullying meeted out by some judges. Rather ironic!
As far as Daniel is concerned. He may not be everybody\’s cup of tea. But he slots neatly into a category containing Michael Buble, Michael Ball and others. Their record sales are vastly higher that those of, for instance, last year\’s X-Factor winner. The show is called "X-Facor", not "Young Pop Idol". And the judges put these "senior" acts through in the first place. They must have thought – at some stage – that they had the "X-Factor". These and other mixes messages sent out by the judges simply undermine their own credibility. It was interesting to hear Simon\’s critique of Daniel\’s "Don\’t Leave Me This Way": a song originally written and recorded by a late-30\’s, slightly overweight (sorry), baritone with a limited vocal range: Harold Melvin. Yep, Daniel did that song more than justice!
They should rename the show \’My Category Won X Factor\’. It is not about the contestants anymore its more about the ego of the judges. Simon is the only one the has any integrity left. At least he left it to the public vote. Louis is the worst, he just wants his group to win at all costs. The two girls stick together and the show is a farce. I won\’t be voting again in this series.
If Laura comes back in then i think that is not fair because by far Austin is the best boy! I cannot believe that Daniel was picked over Scott! and now Rachel was picked over Austin! I don\’t understand why the judges have to make any decision what so ever. I\’m sure they don\’t on American Idol and the person who actually leaves is completely down to the public vote. Why should the judges have the right to choose to keep someone who has received the least votes from the public? What\’s the point of it. I thought the eventual point of the show was to end up with someone who can sell records to the PUBLIC. So why aren\’t they letting the PUBLIC decide who should go and stay? The solution is simple if the people who make the show want it to be. But then hey, I guess we\’re all talking about X Factor and maybe, for the makers of the show, that is their aim and not fairness to the participants and the public who put money in their pockets by voting. Who knows maybe this week more people will vote as a result of Louis decision.

I think Louis Walsh should never be in charge of who stays in the competition and who should leave. He never choses the right person and is so immature that he lets his petty fights with Simon over-right the proper decision. Austin was by far my favourite, he had so much more to give. If the judges HAVE to be in charge of who leaves the competition then the votes should start at Louis and finish with simon because he has the professional attitude and has the best interest for the contestants and the show!

Judging by the picture I have seen with Diana clearly having a good time screaming and jumping up and down I would doubt that she genuinely had Laryngitis and would agree with many others that it was a ploy to get her out of singing a Mariah number that clearly she would not have been able to do, to prove people wrong on Saturday Diana should be made to sing a Mariah number. Anyone can talk in a husky voice if the need arises! As a result it was clearly unfair that any contestant should have gone and Laura should definitely be reinstated. JLS to win for sure

Laura was one of my favourites but she needs to sort out her diction problem. Her interviews and the "She was robbed!" media uproar has put me off her quite a bit. The sing-off gives you one last fighting chance. Laura tried jazzing up OTR and it didn\’t work. Ruth\’s performance was tender, passionate, authentic, stunning. The woman was on fire. She won that sing-off fair & square. All this unecessary drama about Laura being robbed is extremely disrespectful to Ruth. Neither woman deserved to be in the Bottom 2 (Rachel did, my god) but judging from the sing-off and overall talent, Ruth absolutely deserved her place. I hope she makes the final.Can I just say congratulations to Laura on her record deal (heard she signed with Amy Winehouse\’s people?) and I hope she works on her diction. She could potentially be fantastic.
So after several agonising months and all the sob stories we are down to the final five.
Ruth with her Spanish charm giving Cowell a thrill each week…… JLS doing the same old boy band thing…… Eoghan only still in because of his cute Irish boy charms as his singing isn\’t really up to much….. Alexander blowing the roof of the studio each week with her belting voice but she has no identity which is a shame as that girl can really sing and finally I come to Diana, she is the only singer in the show who has a sense of identity and her own unique style and from the top of the auditions I have had a bet on her winning but now I am beginning to wonder if she has got what it takes to win as she is not a main stream pop singer.
One statement made on last nights show was that maybe she is in the wrong place to be exposed as a singer for which I agree as her "Little Girl Lost" image & gentle voice does not suit all genres and that was obvious in her performance last night.
I for one will still back Diana to win but I would say that Alexander is the one to watch out for.
Diana, if you do get to read this I really hope that you for fill your dreams and win the show but if you do not please do not go down the same path "Alex Parks" went down as like you she had her own identity and unique style but she has been lost in Talent show history.

As usual we find ourselves being subjected to yet more drival passed of as entertainment. the thing i find annoying about tripe such as the X Factor is that it\’s format hasnt changed since it\’s inception and as such it has not improved one bit. What has happened is the public those with any inteligence have seen it for waht it is, a contrived side show act rigged to entertain the masses and keep you watching by giving you something to shout at the telly about, by missleading you into the false belief that you can affect the results by your vote. Yet still they watch
The fact of the matter is that from the out set they are not looking for singers, thier sole desire is to find a gaggle of medioca prols to offer up to the viewers as sacrificial lambs and sit back and count the cash as we glibly hand over millions of pounds through various methods.
I attended the manchester auditions (not as a contestant) and was witness to one of the biggest ravisties of so called selection i have ever seen, for five and a half hours i watched as one after another brilliant singers with voices most pop stars would kill for were turned down in favor of idiots wearing orange wigs and other equally stupidly attired individuals along with singers that would break glass at twenty paces were put through.
Since that date i have had no interest in this rubbish. The sad thing is that even though i have made a point of not watching this seris i am still very aware of the results and who\’s in and who\’s out, it seems that no matter how dreadfull the singers are people just can\’t stop watching this crap.
So i pay homeage to the producers and engineers of this fiasco and bow to thier inginuity for comming up with a cash cow that keeps on giving, well done folks. after all these people are the only real winners.

Firstly, how long can Daniel ride the sympathy train ? It seems its no longer about talent, as long as you have had a hard time you\’re in. I am appalled at the X Factor this season I dont know what is going on. It seems its a key factor this year to have a heart felt sob story and you will get to stay in the competition when the real talent is being voted off. I am a huge x factor fan but have found myself not watching anymore its not fair on the public voting if the real talent is going to go home. Austin and Laura definatley did not deserve to be voted off they were very strong contendars and i understand people have hard times in their lives but i think it is totally unfair that they use this to get by. I think Cheryl was to blame for Laura going out on Saturday due to her "protecting" Diana the way she has. I think Louie voted Laura off because he knew by keeping her in not only was she one of the favourites, but also that Cheryl would still have three acts remaining, although only two performed, and Cheryl\’s precious Diana was already SAFE!!

Now that laura and austin are gone i\’m sayin alexandra to win! If she goes now it is most definetly a fix. Everyone vote for alexandra she is the only decent singer left now. As for daniel he is a load of shit, he should not even have got into the live show. I just wish people wouldn\’t vote for his sob stories i mean seriously why he does not have a good voice! ahhhhhh. As for ruth i hate her she doesn\’t seems fake, i think she should have gone ages ago. This years show is a joke, they\’ve had some of the best talent that they\’ve ever had and nearly all of it has gone and its all down to the judges, particularly louis walsh! he only voted scott and austin out to piss simon off, and he only voted laura off because hes trying to make sure his precious JLS win. Its just become all about the judges and its not right.I thought the competition to win would be maddd this year, diana laura austin eoghan jls and alexandra were all competitors to win in my eyes and they are all going because the over 25\’s and using there sob stories to stay in "my wife died" "i want this for my 3948723498 kids" "in spanish…" anyway, its not fair on the other contestants who are amazingly talented and could actually have a career in singing, when its quite blatent rachel daniel or ruth would never sell albums.As for rachels song this saturday, it was TRAGIC! i dont think she hit one note right.Im not even shocked laura went because i knew the judges would make a stupid decision yet again, and they will do it again next week.As for diana, stop having a go at her! she had laryngitis (AN INFECTION OF THE VOCAL CHORDS) for gods sake, she could barely talk how do you expect her to sing? i just hope its not chronic and that shes better for next saturdays show. It was a travesty of justice that Laura went, she was the main contender to win alongside Austin. Her version of \’Somewhere over the Rainbow\’ was so beautiful, I agree that Ruth\’s chosen song was outstanding and sang with passion but Laura is a quiet, gentle person and her passion comes from within. I think perhaps the piano wasn\’t a good idea as it detracted from her singing, it was a brave effort and showed her versatility but the second half of her chosen song was fantastic. Louis is voting off the competition that is so obvious and Simon for once is voting with his heart not his head, shame on you Simon I expected more from you. Its obvious the underdog i.e. Rachel is getting the sympathy vote, she was terrible, what on earth happened there, on the strength of that song she should have gone, she blew it, she has a fantastic voice but she has an attitude and frankly, it is really getting on my nerves. Daniel has a good voice but excuse me, should he be there instead of Laura, I don\’t think so, he is definitely getting the sympathy vote despite Danni\’s protests and by the way, what does she know, she can\’t sing either. I would like to see Sharon back in the frame frankly, she was a bit stroppy at times but when it came to it, she always spoke the truth and voted accordingly. The X factor for me personally has lost its sparkle.

Oh fo rgoodness sake! You watch these programmes you can spot the top three (usually) from the start. The guys who were eliminated have perofrmed well, but… they will leave our memories – – soon. Let\’s concentrate on talent…. u know who they are!
I thought Austin and Laura would be in the final 3. As a comment says below, i think that Louis was sending home the strongest contestants so that his act (JLS) would out do the rest.
It is stupid, & it has ruined the show. No offence to Daniel, but can we really see him selling many records? But I\’m sure we can all see Austin or Laura do well in the future. Good luck to them. I\’m sure in a few months they will be in the charts, looking back thinking…..(i won\’t say what!)..
Daniel and Owen (not the way he spells it I know, before anyone comments) are still in there when Austin and Laura are out! What a travesty for what is meant to be a talent show. Louis has always voted tactically and this year is no different, he is such a scheming brat, he indeed does vote off the competition in the hopes of his own act winning regardless of any singing/performing talent they may have.

x-factor has changed and when it comes down to the final vote between the judges at the end,
the decision should be made on there consistency and performances throughout the competition,
how on earth can they sing at there best when they\’ve just been told it may be their last chance to perform,
emotions and neves will be all over the place! And this is what the judges have to vote upon!
the people who it means more to will be more nervous therefore not perform there best and then end up out!
Unfortunately X-Factor has dissappointed, 2 amazing talents have been let go,

Well, wot can u say? Laura was my favorite to win x-factor, its a shame yes but i am sure we have not heard the last of laura. Hopefully its the last we will see of austin, after all he was and is such a cry baby, vain and i did not particularly like him. Rachel has a good voice but her attitude and aggression will let her down and that would be a shame. Daniel sang well on saturday but rachel and daniel should have in the bottom two, not laura and ruth.
Ince again this week the 2 acts in the bottom 2 should not have been there. I agree with all the comments about the emphasis of the show is now on the judges acts which is sad. Austin and Laura were personally in my top 3 and obviously a lot of people agree with me.
I agree that Daniel should have been voted off when he was up against scott but there are 2 acts which I am puzzled as to all the good comments they are recieving…..JLS and Rachel. I totally agree about Rachel- she sings completely out of tune EVERY week. I\’ll admit I felt sorry for her on Saturday because she looked broken down by everything but I wouldn\’t vote for her…obviously others did. But we must be hearing something different through the TV because I don\’t know why she has been saved and why she gets compliments from the judges- I can\’t believe I\’m saying this but I\’d rather have Daniel than Rachel! At least he puts some emotion into it….she\’s just harsh and flat!
I honestly can\’t believe how vindictive and selfish louis is. Just because two of his acts went out right from the start, he has made this some sort of personal vendetta, instead of a talent show, which it infact is! Sometimes I really wonder why these competitions are run and i wonder if I\’m watching the same show as the voting public. Get real, Daniel will never sell records, he hasn\’t got the voice and he\’s past it. Enough sob stories thanks, I want to listen to some good singers once in a while.

I just can\’t get my head around what\’s happened! This show has turned into a joke. It\’s all about tactics and no longer about talent. Louis (tiny man) Walsh!!! To see Austin and then Laura voted off in consecutive weeks, proves it. I could only see 3 possible winners and now only Alexandra is left. I think she will walk it now. Good luck to her, but we have all been cheated out of a strong and nail biting competition. The judges votes should be done away with. This is peoples lives and dreams they are playing with. They should just give their opinions and let the bottom 2 sing off and the 1 with the least votes to go. That\’s my rant over and now i\’m off to find something else to watch on saturday\’s, because i\’m done with X Factor!

Why are daniel and rachel still on the show. he is past it and she is rude arrogant and has a very very bad attitude. austin\’s version of billie jean was amazing and it would be great if he realeased this as a single. in my opinion it would be a big seller. the rest of the contestants including laura all have talent but ruth and alexander are my favourites, they sing with soul and passion so go girls and show the judges your stuff x

Does it really matter who gets voted off, What is the x factor, it is a competition to get a recording contract for a year then fade away into the back ground and get forgotten. is it really worth it NOOOOOOOOOOOO it is not. I have played in bands and I have played in places like China and India, I have never had a recording contract and never will, but I would rather have done the things I have done than do a show like x factor, none of the judges have any talant, i would be very surprised if any of them can read music. I agree with neil rachel can\’t sing, and rachel can\’t even sing, i think both austin and laura should get a record deal as they had the best voice in the whole competion and the only reason simon voted austin off is because he hates simon, and it serves him right for loosing both act on the 1-2 week
Guys, don\’t worry too much about Laura, Austin and any real talent that gets voted off. They\’ve had the exposure they need; and already have contracts arranged. They will not be cast out "into the cold". If there is still as much love for them in 3 months\’ time, when they are allowed to release songs, then they will have their own successes.
The "pity vote" being given to some acts is a result of the bullying meeted out by some judges. Rather ironic!
As far as Daniel is concerned. He may not be everybody\’s cup of tea. But he slots neatly into a category containing Michael Buble, Michael Ball and others. Their record sales are vastly higher that those of, for instance, last year\’s X-Factor winner. The show is called "X-Facor", not "Young Pop Idol". And the judges put these "senior" acts through in the first place. They must have thought – at some stage – that they had the "X-Factor". These and other mixes messages sent out by the judges simply undermine their own credibility. It was interesting to hear Simon\’s critique of Daniel\’s "Don\’t Leave Me This Way": a song originally written and recorded by a late-30\’s, slightly overweight (sorry), baritone with a limited vocal range: Harold Melvin. Yep, Daniel did that song more than justice!
They should rename the show \’My Category Won X Factor\’. It is not about the contestants anymore its more about the ego of the judges. Simon is the only one the has any integrity left. At least he left it to the public vote. Louis is the worst, he just wants his group to win at all costs. The two girls stick together and the show is a farce. I won\’t be voting again in this series.
If Laura comes back in then i think that is not fair because by far Austin is the best boy! I cannot believe that Daniel was picked over Scott! and now Rachel was picked over Austin! I don\’t understand why the judges have to make any decision what so ever. I\’m sure they don\’t on American Idol and the person who actually leaves is completely down to the public vote. Why should the judges have the right to choose to keep someone who has received the least votes from the public? What\’s the point of it. I thought the eventual point of the show was to end up with someone who can sell records to the PUBLIC. So why aren\’t they letting the PUBLIC decide who should go and stay? The solution is simple if the people who make the show want it to be. But then hey, I guess we\’re all talking about X Factor and maybe, for the makers of the show, that is their aim and not fairness to the participants and the public who put money in their pockets by voting. Who knows maybe this week more people will vote as a result of Louis decision.

I think Louis Walsh should never be in charge of who stays in the competition and who should leave. He never choses the right person and is so immature that he lets his petty fights with Simon over-right the proper decision. Austin was by far my favourite, he had so much more to give. If the judges HAVE to be in charge of who leaves the competition then the votes should start at Louis and finish with simon because he has the professional attitude and has the best interest for the contestants and the show!

Judging by the picture I have seen with Diana clearly having a good time screaming and jumping up and down I would doubt that she genuinely had Laryngitis and would agree with many others that it was a ploy to get her out of singing a Mariah number that clearly she would not have been able to do, to prove people wrong on Saturday Diana should be made to sing a Mariah number. Anyone can talk in a husky voice if the need arises! As a result it was clearly unfair that any contestant should have gone and Laura should definitely be reinstated. JLS to win for sure

Laura was one of my favourites but she needs to sort out her diction problem. Her interviews and the "She was robbed!" media uproar has put me off her quite a bit. The sing-off gives you one last fighting chance. Laura tried jazzing up OTR and it didn\’t work. Ruth\’s performance was tender, passionate, authentic, stunning. The woman was on fire. She won that sing-off fair & square. All this unecessary drama about Laura being robbed is extremely disrespectful to Ruth. Neither woman deserved to be in the Bottom 2 (Rachel did, my god) but judging from the sing-off and overall talent, Ruth absolutely deserved her place. I hope she makes the final.Can I just say congratulations to Laura on her record deal (heard she signed with Amy Winehouse\’s people?) and I hope she works on her diction. She could potentially be fantastic.

So after several agonising months and all the sob stories we are down to the final five.
Ruth with her Spanish charm giving Cowell a thrill each week…… JLS doing the same old boy band thing…… Eoghan only still in because of his cute Irish boy charms as his singing isn\’t really up to much….. Alexander blowing the roof of the studio each week with her belting voice but she has no identity which is a shame as that girl can really sing and finally I come to Diana, she is the only singer in the show who has a sense of identity and her own unique style and from the top of the auditions I have had a bet on her winning but now I am beginning to wonder if she has got what it takes to win as she is not a main stream pop singer.
One statement made on last nights show was that maybe she is in the wrong place to be exposed as a singer for which I agree as her "Little Girl Lost" image & gentle voice does not suit all genres and that was obvious in her performance last night.
I for one will still back Diana to win but I would say that Alexander is the one to watch out for.
Diana, if you do get to read this I really hope that you for fill your dreams and win the show but if you do not please do not go down the same path "Alex Parks" went down as like you she had her own identity and unique style but she has been lost in Talent show history.

I believe all 3 have been signed and put to work on the publicity train before someone else signs them.
As usual we find ourselves being subjected to yet more drival passed of as entertainment. the thing i find annoying about tripe such as the X Factor is that it\’s format hasnt changed since it\’s inception and as such it has not improved one bit. What has happened is the public those with any inteligence have seen it for waht it is, a contrived side show act rigged to entertain the masses and keep you watching by giving you something to shout at the telly about, by missleading you into the false belief that you can affect the results by your vote. Yet still they watch
The fact of the matter is that from the out set they are not looking for singers, thier sole desire is to find a gaggle of medioca prols to offer up to the viewers as sacrificial lambs and sit back and count the cash as we glibly hand over millions of pounds through various methods.
I attended the manchester auditions (not as a contestant) and was witness to one of the biggest ravisties of so called selection i have ever seen, for five and a half hours i watched as one after another brilliant singers with voices most pop stars would kill for were turned down in favor of idiots wearing orange wigs and other equally stupidly attired individuals along with singers that would break glass at twenty paces were put through.
Since that date i have had no interest in this rubbish. The sad thing is that even though i have made a point of not watching this seris i am still very aware of the results and who\’s in and who\’s out, it seems that no matter how dreadfull the singers are people just can\’t stop watching this crap.
So i pay homeage to the producers and engineers of this fiasco and bow to thier inginuity for comming up with a cash cow that keeps on giving, well done folks. after all these people are the only real winners.
